Course Title: Display Screen Equipment

Course Content: At the end of the course delegates will be able:
To understand the hazards and risks associated with display screen work.
To be able to work with minimum risks to health and safety
To understand the policy of the organisation, including arrangements for eyesight tests, rest breaks, reporting problems and duties under legislation.
For Managers & Supervisors:
To carry out DSE workstation assessments.
To comply with statutory duties and common law
To be equipped to provide an adequate response to problems
Handouts include a DSE Assessment proforma and suggested Managers/Supervisors guidelines

Target Group:
Any individual classified as an operator under the terms of the Health & Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992. Any manager/supervisor having responsibilities for staff who fall within the terms of the Regulations.

Qualification: RSM Attendance certificate
Course Duration: ½ day (3 hrs) Can be run in back-to-back morning and afternoon sessions
Timetable: 0900 to 1200 and 1300 to 1600 or to meet local requirements
