Course Content:

  • To understand the dangers of electricity in the workplace.
  • To understand the legislative requirements and the records that should be kept.
  • To know the general user checks that anyone can do.
  • To know the principles of correct plug connection and what to look for in cables and fuses.
  • To be able to identify personal limitations by knowing what tests and inspections must be carried out by a competent person.

Entry Requirements:   All delegates should have attended a health and safety induction course.

Course Duration:   ½ day.   Can be run in back-to-back morning and afternoon sessions
